He who overcomes will wear white clothes, and I will never erase his name from the Book of Life. I will acknowledge his name in the presence of my Father and his angels. (Rev 3:5)
We could think of the Book of Life that originally there were all the names. The question is, whose name is removed from this book. And perhaps also who gets their name restored to the Book of Life. A celestial book with the names of those who will reach salvation is spoken in the following verses of Revelation:
13:8 All those living on earth will worship it, everyone whose name is not written in the Book of Life belonging to the lamb that was slaughtered from the foundation of the world.
17:8 The beast that you saw once was, is no longer, and is going to come from the bottomless pit and go to its destruction. Those living on earth, whose names were not written in the Book of Life from the foundation of the world, will be surprised when they see the beast because it was, is no longer, and will come again.
20:12 And I saw the dead, the small and the great, standing before God. And books were opened. And another Book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged out of the things written in the books, according to their works.
20:15 Anyone whose name was not found written in the Book of Life was thrown into the lake of fire.
21: Nothing unclean, or anyone who does anything detestable, and no one who tells lies will ever enter it. Only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life will enter it.
– A person’s name is wiped out of the book of life if he cannot endure – stay faithful- to the end. In the last days people, even believers, are being tested so that … “God will send upon them a deluding influence so that they will believe what is false” (2 Tes 2:11). Also, false Christs and false prophets will arise and these will show great signs and wonders, in order to mislead even the elect, tells the bible (Mat 24:24)
Rev 7:14 …These are those coming out of the great tribulation; and they washed their robes and whitened them in the blood of the Lamb.
12:11 They conquered him by the blood of the lamb and by the word of their testimony, for they did not love their life even in the face of death.
14:10 will drink the wine of God’s wrath, which has been poured unmixed into the cup of his anger. He will be tortured with fire and sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and the lamb.
19:7 Let us rejoice, be glad, and give him glory, because the marriage of the lamb has come and his bride [church, congregation] has made herself ready.
19:9 Then the angel said to me, Write this: How blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the lamb! He also told me: These are the true words of God.
21:27 … only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s book of life will enter it.
